The first class taken on by a preparatory school 14 years ago are set to leave after completing their A-Levels.
A celebration was held today (May 22) to mark the group of nine students being the first to complete a full 14 years at Forest School in Snaresbrook.
The group, who have just finished Year 13, joined the College Place school in 2001 when the prep school was founded and will leave this summer.
Sarah Kerr-Dineen, who became the private school’s first female headteacher in 2009, said she was proud of the class.
She said: “These were our very first babies and I have known them since I came to the school when they were in Year 8.
“The group have been here before most of the staff.
“They are part of the Forest family and have grown from four-year-olds to adults at the school.”
