An elderly woman was hospitalised at the weekend after falling and hitting her head.
An air ambulance and paramedics attended the scene in Rectory Lane, Loughton, at around 6pm on Sunday (May 24) following reports of a pensioner falling and suffering a head injury.
Paramedics treated a woman in her 80s for head and facial injuries.
She was later taken by land to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow for further treatment.
