Green fingered volunteers are needed to help which protect vulnerable patients from the impacts of air pollution at a hospital.
Breathing Spaces, a project from Global Action Plan and Barts Health NHS Trust, is being launched to improve existing green spaces at the Whipps Cross Hospital, Leytonstone.
Its aim is to spread awareness on the impact air pollution has on health and the environment, which causes 4,000 premature deaths in London each year.
On June 25 volunteers are invited to meet at the hospital for 10am with refreshments provided.
