A Loughton man has been named one of the top accountants in the country.
Darryl Light, 27, of Haslers Accountants in Old Station Road, Loughton, was named in the 2015 Accountancy Age Top 35 accountants under 35 on Monday (May 25).
Mr Light, who joined the business three years ago as a trainee, was added to the list after successfully leading a number of assignments for a range of businesses and charities.
He said: “I am absolutely delighted to be included in this year’s 35 under 35 list.
“When I started here as a trainee I never dreamed I would be where I am today.
"It is a real honour to be recognised."
Laurence Jacobs, Chairman of Haslers, said: “Everyone at Haslers is delighted to hear that Darryl has been recognised by Accountancy Age as one of the top members of his profession.
“He should be very proud of what he has achieved at Haslers.
"I am sure he has a very bright future ahead of him.”
