A Mercury Prize-nominated rapper and the son of an African music legend feature on the line-up for the second Walthamstow Garden Party free festival next month.
Last year the event attracted 34,000 people to Lloyd Park and the Barbican and the Create organisation have this year joined forces with Waltham Forest council to stage the event on July 18 and 19.
Mercury prize nominee Ghostpoet and Femi Kuti, son of afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, will headline on the Sunday (July 19).
Lloyd Park will host two days of music, theatre, dance, film, spoken word, arts & crafts, food and family activity in partnership with local organisations.
The festival’s music programme will also feature local talent alongside international musicians across two music stages.
