Alfred Hitchcock will 'return home' with a special outdoor screening of his films in a cemetery.

As part of this year's Leytonstone Festival, a special tribute to one of the area's most famous sons will take place at St John’s Church, in Church Lane.

Hitchcock was born in 1899 at 517 High Road, Leytonstone, before going on to become one of the most distinguished directors in the history of cinema.

The films Dial ‘M’ For Murder (July 16), The Man Who Knew Too Much (July 17) and ‘The Lady Vanishes’ (July 18) will be shown on an outdoor projector after sunset.

No seating will be provided by the organisers, Hitchcock's Home, so guests are asked to bring chairs and blankets to the graveyard.

Doors open at 6.30pm and tickets are £15 each or £30 for all three showings. To book click here.
