Three teenagers charged in connection with two knife attacks on a boy will be tried at a crown court later this month.

Two 15-year-old's from Chingford and Walthamstow were arrested on Tuesday (June 9) and charged with greivous bodily harm (GBH) after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in Hall Lane, Chingford, last Thursday.

A third teenager aged 17 was charged with GBH in relation to a second stabbing of the same 16-year-old and a 15-year-old boy in Withy Mead, Chingford, on Monday evening.

The trio appeared at Stratford Magistrates Court yesterday (June 10) where they all entered a not guilty plea.

They are being held in a youth detention centre ahead of the trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court on June 24.

Officers were called  to Hall Lane by the junction with Sinclair Road at around 1.30pm following reports to an attack on a teenager.

The 16-year-old presented himself to hospital with a stab wound to the upper chest and arm.

He was discharged on Saturday and then stabbed 48 hours later a further three times in Withy Mead.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service to reports of two teenagers suffering from stab wounds in nearby Connington Crescent, at around 6.30pm.

The double stab victim was taken to hospital by air ambulance, which had landed in the grounds of Longshaw Primary School in Longshaw Road.

The 15-year-old was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital.

Both teenagers have since been discharged from hospital.

A 21-year-old arrested in connection with Monday's stabbing has been bailed to a date in July.
