Children across Waltham Forest have been learning the importance of becoming a good citizen, in a police-run scheme.
Primary school children from 31 schools were given the chance to meet firefighters, paramedics, railway workers and TfL as they were taught how to take better care of their community.
All 1,850 children who are soon heading to secondary schools were faced with dangerous scenarios and had to work together to find a resolution.
The Waltham Forest Junior Citizenship Scheme was held at The Soul Project in Wood Street, last week.
On Thursday, students from Barclay Primary School were joined by Mayor of Waltham Forest, Saima Mahmud and Borough Commander Jackie Sebire.
PC Jason Hill, from Waltham Forest Youth Engagement, said: "This has been a very successful event once again.
“It's fun, sharp, interactive learning which the children thrive on, and for me and all the staff working on the event there is massive sense of satisfaction in being able to pass on these vital skills."
