A man accused of beating a woman and stalking her by installing a a listening device in her bedroom and fitting a tracking device to her car has appeared in court.
David Braham, 44, of Alverton Close in Braintree, is accused of harrassing Debbie Harris in Waltham Abbey between March 1 and April 11.
Braham, who denies the charge, is also accused of beating Ms Harris in Waltham Abbey on April 10.
He appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates Court today.
Braham was released on bail with the condition he does not contact the alleged victim.
He is due to return to the court on July 1 for an intirim hearing ahead of his trial at the same court on October 30.
