A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital last night following a collision.
Police and two ambulance crews were called to Chingford Lane, Chingford, following an accident between a motorcyclist and a car at shortly before 7pm yesterday (June 18).
The motorcyclist, a man believed to be in his late 20s, was rushed to Whipps Cross Hospital with back, neck and arm injuries.
The road was closed for several hours between the junction with The Avenue and High Road, Woodford Green, due to a large spillage of oil and police awaiting an update on the man's condition.
Police have said his injuries are not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was not arrested.
The road was re-opened at just after 1.30am this morning.
