A man was arrested following a two-vehicle crash yesterday evening.
Police were called to the scene in Commonside Road, between Epping Green and Harlow, at around 6.55pm following reports of a collision involving a Vauxhall Zafira and a Ford Focus.
One man, a 32-year-old from Harlow, ran from the scene towards a housing estate off of Spruce Hill before officers arrived.
He was arrested just over an hour later on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and driving offences.
He was released on police bail until August 11 pending further enquiries.
