Three men have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) after a night club brawl.

An 18-year-old man from north west London was hospitalised with head injuries after the fight, which happened at around 1.20am yesterday (June 28) at Nu Bar in High Road, Loughton.

The injured man was later discharged.

A 30-year-old man from Dartford, a 29-year-old man from Bromley and a 36-year-old man from Orpington were arrested on suspicion of GBH.

The oldest man remains in custody this morning, with the other two released on bail until July 27 pending further enquiries.

The incident follows a claim by Essex Police that crime associated with the night-time economy has dropped by more than 20 per cent in Epping Forest.

Anyone with information about the incident at Nu Bar should contact Essex Police on 101.
