North Weald Airfield will host a day-long programme of events next month to commemorate the 75th anniversary of one of the most important battles of the Second World War.
The ex-RAF base will hold its Salute to the Few event on July 12, marking the start of the decisive Battle of Britain.
Pilots will perform acrobatic displays in military aircraft, there will be an RAF parade and a commemorative ceremony at sunset.
Tickets for the event, which runs from 10am, cost £5.
