Plans to demolish a derelict plant nursery to make way for three new houses have been submitted.
If approved, the proposal, which was lodged earlier this month, would see Esperanza Nursery in Stapleford Road, Stapleford Abbotts, demolished to allow the erection of three dwellings.
The application by Tony Humphries is the forth to be submitted for the site over a period of five years.
Previous proposals in 2010 to 2011 were rejected due to fears for green belt land, the proposal being situated in a rural and unsustainable location isolated from public transport or local facilities and that the claimed affordable housing would be unaffordable.
Any comments on the application should be made, here, by July 20.
