Hundreds of people joined the national minute’s silence to remember the victims of last week’s tragic terror attacks in Tunisia, France and Kuwait.
Proceedings were led by council leader Chris Robbins and Cllr Saima Mahmud, Mayor of Waltham Forest at the flagpole outside the Town Hall in Forest Road at noon.
Council Leader Chris Robbins said: “These sickening attacks have tragically claimed the lives of dozens of innocent people, all of whom are in our thoughts. Our deepest condolences go out to all of the families and friends who lost loved ones.”
