Two very different child stars have been born in South Oxhey, a classical ballet dancer and a television actor.
Jonathan Corde, 11, recently filmed a second series of BBC1’s Boot Street Gang while Jack Tobin, eight, has just been accepted by the Royal Ballet School.
Both boys train at the Gypsy Booth School of Ballet in Gosforth Lane, South Oxhey.
Next year, the school, which specialises in ballet, jazz dance and drama classes, will celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Many of the children there do classes simply for fun although others are more ambitious.
Former pupil Sophie Allisstone is now one of Bruce Forsyth’s dolly dealers in Play Your Cards Right.
