Firefighters were called to a blaze in a derelict building, last night.
The fire in Rectory Lane, Loughton, started around 5.50pm in a small unit around 10metres by seven.
Four fire engines were called to the incident which was dealt with by 7.20pm.
An investigation into the cause has been launched.
