A man in his 80s was injured when two cars collided yesterday.
A pensioner was taken to hospital following a two vehicle crash yesterday morning.
Police, fire and two ambulances attended the scene in London Road, Thornwood, at around 11am following reports of a man in his 80s injured following a car crash.
Firefighters worked to make one of the vehicles safe and freed the elderly casualty.
Paramedics, who arrived on the scene within six minutes, treated the man at the scene.
He was later taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow for further care.
