A nursery has raised almost £2,000 for a children's hospital ward through hosting a summer fete.
Kids Inc Day Nursery in Chingford held the annual event on Saturday at its purpose-built site in Friday Hill West.
Prior to the event, staff had managed to raise £1,000 through raffle sale tickets and an additional £800 was raised on the day through.
On the day, children and parents enjoyed guessing games, a chocolate fountain, face painting, a raffle, a nail and tattoo bar and entertainment from Mr Wobbles.
The money is being donated to the paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) otherwise known as the Forest Ward at the Evelina Children's Hospital in London.
