Police have released two CCTV images of suspected thieves after power tools were stolen from a van in a Sainsbury's car park.
The men pictured are wanted in connection with theft from a motor vehicle at the superstore car park in Walthamstow Avenue, Chingford, on June 1 at around 2pm.
Makita power tools worth £1,300 were taken from inside a red Volkswagen van after the back doors were forced open.
The victim was alerted to the theft by a passer-by but the suspects ran off and drove away with the tools in a silver Ford Focus.
Police ran checks on the car which showed it had no registered keeper.
