A nature reserve is set to celebrate its falconry's first anniversary.
Lee Valley Park Farms will open its doors on August 5 to celebrate the one year birthday of the Coda Falconry which was opened at the Waltham Abbey attraction in 2014.
The all-day 'Hootenanny' celebration, which will take place at the farm in Stubbins Hall Lane, will include flying displays as well as lamb racing, face painting, archery, arts and crafts, pig racing, storytelling and meerkat feeding.
Lee Valley Park Farms Manager James Broomfield said: “We are looking forward to celebrating Coda Falconry’s one year anniversary with this Hootenanny which promises to be a great day full of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
“Coda Falconry has been a brilliant addition to Lee Valley Park Farms.
"Their flock of impressive birds including Nelson the Golden eagle and Loki the xylophone playing raven are very popular with visitors.”
