Three teenagers accused of murdering a teaching assistant have been remanded in custody to enter a plea later this year.
Fitness instructor at Leyton Leisure Lagoon and teaching assistant at Heathcote School, Michael Adegbite, died on July 19 after being stabbed in the chest.
That evening, he had travelled to Enfield with a friend to sell his Apple Macbook laptop he had advertised on Gumtree.
Following an argument with the buyers, Mr Adegbite, 28, was stabbed shortly before 7pm in Lackmore Road and died at the roadside 30 minutes later.
18 year-old's Montel Ajayi of Fowley Close, Waltham Cross, Isacc Owen-Brady, of Blossom Lane, Enfield and Christopher Nzeh, of Spring Way, Hitchin, were all charged with murder and conspiracy to rob on July 22.
Nzeh was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
The trio appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on July 23 and were remanded to appear at the Old Bailey yesterday (July 27).
They have kept in custody to enter a plea at the Old Bailey on October 12.
Mr Adegbite, had recently signed a contract with a modelling agency and graduated from the University of East London in 2010.
Acting borough commander for Enfield, detective superintendent Simon Warwick, said the loss of Michael's life "has left his family and loved ones devastated".
