Ongar Town Council has invited groups to apply for funding
Community groups have been invited to apply for council funding to help them carry out their work.
Ongar Town Council has announced it is reintroducing the Community Grants programme for the next year.
A council statement said funds are “limited” but “it is hoped that the council will be able to assist as many community groups as possible”.
Similar schemes are operated around Epping Forest, with funds given to youth projects, charities and a skate park extension in Waltham Abbey in recent years.
