A missing 14-year-old girl has been found safe and well according to police.

Inayah Beddelem went missing from her home in Shrewsbury in June prompting an appeal from police and charity Missing People who believed she may have travelled to London.

The 14-year-old was found on Tuesday (August 11).

A West Mercia police spokeswoman said: "We transfered her case to the Met in June and she has now been found safe and well."

Missing People runs a free, confidential and 24/7 helpline, 116 000, supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
