Several buses are on diversion due to a burst water main in a busy road.
Kings Road in Chingford is currently closed between Station Road and Larkshall Road following the burst main yesterday evening (August 17).
A sign at the scene says the road will be closed until Friday (August 21) but Thames Water anticipate to have it opened by tomorrow.
Bus route's 179, 212, 397 and the 444 are on diversion.
The 179 is being diverted via Whitehall Road up Friday Hill, and the 212 via Larkhall Road. The 397 is diverted via Station Road and the 444 via Larkshall Road.
The Ridgeway is serving all four routes to and from the bus station in Station Road.
A spokeswoman for Thames Water, said: "The pipe which burst last night has been repaired and we are working hard to get the road back to normal as quickly as we can.
"We hope to be finished later today."
