A busy road is still closed and buses remain on diversion following a burst water main on Monday.

Kings Road in Chingford remains closed between Station Road and Larkshall Road, despite Thames Water saying it should have re-open on Wednesday.

A road sign at the scene says it will remain closed until today (August 21).

According to Thames Water, the burst pipe was fixed on Monday evening and the road closure was to repair the road.

Bus route's 179, 212, 397 and the 444 remain diverted Friday Hill, Larkshall Road, New Road and The Ridgeway.
