A fundraising event for a charity which trains dogs to detect tumours is set to take place next month.
Managers at Wanstead’s Cambridge Nursing Home are holding the fundraising event for Medical Detection Dogs at Woodford Wells Cricket Club, in Monkhams Lane, Woodford Green.
From 7pm to 11pm on September 4 there will be a presentation and a cold buffet will be served.
The charity claims its dogs have a 93 per cent accuracy rate for detecting tumours.
