A woman was taken to hospital after her car overturned following a crash on the M25.
Emergency services were called to the scene between junction 26 for Waltham Abbey and junction 27 for the M11 at around 1pm yesterday (August 23) following reports of one person injured after a two-vehicle crash.
The East of England Ambulance Trust reported that they had received a high number of calls from concerned road users following the incident.
A woman in her 20s, who was driving the car which flipped onto the roof, was treated at the scene for back and abdominal pain.
She was taken to Queens Hospital in Romford for further treatment.
Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
