A new health spa has opened in a hotel with free beauty treatments for visitors on its first day.

Today (August 24), Autumn Spa officially opened its doors in Best Western Plus Epping Forest, in Oak Hill, Woodford Green.

County Hotel was upgraded to a Best Western Plus after a £1m renovation project and can now cater for business meetings, weddings and school proms.

The 102-bedroom hotel has allowed the business to operate from a business conference room which was being underused.

Champagne is on offer today with free waxing, nail treatments and massages for people who visit before 6pm.

Refreshments and free painting and nail art are on offer for children too.

When the business goes live tomorrow, prices will range from £9 for an eyebrow shape to £39 for a signature Autumn Spa pedicure.

General manager of the hotel, Sara Chegwidden, said: “It was finished last week and the business conference room has been completely transformed into a salon.

“Founder of Autumn Spa, Kate Brown, came to us with the idea and we were delighted to offer the space for their use.

“It will be a great permanent fixture for the hotel and will add value to it for our guests too.”
