DETECTIVES in Waltham Forest are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman claims she was kidnapped, falsely imprisoned and raped.
Officers were called to an address in Norfolk Road, Walthamstow, on April 29 by a teenager asking for help.
The 19-year-old said she had managed to flee an address and at approximately 8pm, and sought help from a woman in Higham Hill Recreation Ground.
The woman, who was with her child, called a taxi for the victim.
She is described as a black woman with curly hair and officers are keen to trace her.
A second witness is a taxi driver of Asian appearance.
He was driving a black car with the word 'TAXI' on the side of the vehicle across the front and rear doors.
He collected the victim from the recreation ground and dropped her off at Harts Lane, Barking.
Detective Constable Alf Rioja, from Waltham Forest CID, said: "We are really keen to speak to these witnesses, or anyone that can give us information that could assist us with this investigation."
