A rapid response vehicle rushed to a patient in just three minutes after he collapsed in a supermarket last week.
The patient, a man in his seventies, collapsed shortly before 12.30pm on Friday (August 28) in Morrisons, Loughton High Street.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called at 12.26pm with the rapid response vehicle arriving at 12.29pm, followed by an ambulance.
The man was stretchered into the waiting ambulance and taken to Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone for “further assessment and monitoring”.
