A crash between a bus and a car has put a woman in hospital.
The collision happened at the Markhouse Road junction with Lea Bridge Road in Walthamstow at 7.45am this morning.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital as a precaution and police say she is not seriously injured.
Road closures remain in place in both directions as fire services and paramedics attend the scene.
Buses were operating on diversion with severe delays but have now resumed their original routes.
Police have made no arrests and enquiries are continuing.
There is no access to Lea Bridge Rd from Markhouse Rd due to a road traffic accident. Please avoid the area.
