Staff at an accountancy firm have donated £750 to buy equipment for a play scheme.

Haslers Accountants Foundation in Old Station Road, Loughton, donated the money to the Summerworld Play Scheme at Redbridge Jewish Community Centre this morning (September 8).

The money will be used to buy play equipment for activities during the school holidays for children in Redbridge and neighbouring boroughs.

Richard Shone, Service Manager for Community Centres, said: “We would like to thank the Foundation for their continued support of Redbridge JCC.

"Donations such as yours mean that we are able to continue with our vital work.

“It really is true to say that these gifts make a difference.

"On behalf of all those we care for, thank you.”

Jon O’Shea, Chairman of the Haslers Foundation, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be awarding money to such a wonderful cause.

“They do a fantastic job of helping young people in and around Redbridge and I hope this funding goes someway to helping them purchase new equipment for their centre.”
