The trial of a man accused of beating a man and possessing an air pistol in public has been postponed.
Daniel Jonathon Bedford of Bryony Close in Loughton was set to appear in Basildon Magistrates Court on September 3 charged with assaulting a man by beating him in Loughton on February 10.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared in court on June 26.
Bedford is also accused of carrying an unloaded Umarex H.P.P Air Pistol around Valley Hill in Loughton on the same date.
He indicated a guilty plea to the second charge.
Bedford, who has been released on unconditional bail, will now appear on trial at the same court on September 17.
