Staff at a legal firm have raised £2,108 to support disabled people and their families.
PCS Legal, which is based in Ongar and Basildon, hosted a golfing event, a summer garden party and a weekly staff lottery in hopes of raising much-needed funds for Papworth Trust.
The money will go towards helping the charity offer essential support and care to disabled and older people, their families and carers.
Sarah Joy, conveyancing executive at the firm, said: “We went to see Papworth Trust’s work.
"We were hugely impressed.
“The big appeal for us was that it was nice to have a charity that is on our doorstep, where you could see where every penny is spent.
"It has been absolutely fantastic and we would like to thank every single person who has supported and donated so far.”
Staff are now planning to take on the Ben Nevis Challenge next year to raise money for the same charity.
