Scouts were educated on how to extinguish a fire
More than 2,000 Scouts participated in a live fire safety demonstration this week.
Thousands of Scout leaders and explorers gathered at the demonstration, hosted by Chubb Fire and Safety Limited, at Gilwell Park in Bury Road, Waltham Abbey, on Tuesday (September 8).
Scouts were educated in how to extinguish numerous fires, including electrical and household objects, for their Fire Safety Badge.
Jane Garland, marketing and communications manager, Chubb Fire & Security said: "It is great to see strong participation by Scout Leaders.
"They are enhancing their knowledge and understanding of fire safety to keep them safe both now and in the future.”
