Staff at a veterinary clinic are set to host a coffee morning in a bid to raise much-needed funds for charity.
The team at team at Goddard Vet Group in Roding Road, Loughton will join thousands of other businesses later this month to take part in 'The World's Biggest Coffee Morning'.
The Macmillan event, which has been running since 1990, will raise funds to support victims and families affected by cancer.
The coffee morning raised more than £25 million last year.
Guests are invited to join the team on September 25 between 12 and 2pm for a relaxed chat and the opportunity to try some cakes.
Nursing Assistant Claire Wright says: "So many of us have friends or family members who have been helped by MacMillan nurses that we wanted to show our support for this fantastic cause.
"We're all practising our baking and really looking forward to welcoming our guests with an impressive display of cakes on the big day."
