A vintage fair that offers 'unique products' from the 1980s to the early 20th Century will take place this weekend.

Auntie Maureen’s Vintage Fair on Sunday (October 4) is now fully booked with traders but will have plenty of one-off jewellery items, vintage furniture and collectibles to tempt visitors.

Live music is provided by swing-jazz duo The Mood Swingers and refreshments will be available.

Maureen Schipper, who runs events under the name Auntie Maureen, is also a DJ with an original 1930’s gramophone spinning in The Nags Head pub in Walthamstow and various UK festivals.

Maureen said: " The event is directly responsible for bringing on average 350 people 5 times per year into the Village area, making it a destination, adding to that local economy while lifting the reputation of Orford Road at the same time.

Tickets are £1 for the Walthamstow fair which will take place between 11am and 5pm at the ballroom in Orford House Social Club, Orford Road.
