Epping Forest District Council offices in Epping
Two by-election candidates have been announced after a town councillor stepped down earlier this summer.
Derek Birch of the Ongar Residents’ Association and Brian Surtees for the Liberal Democrats are standing in the upcoming Ongar Town Council election for the Chipping Ongar ward.
The vote, to be held on October 22, follows Lynn Hawkins stepping down shortly after being elected for the ward in May this year.
