The harvest festival was celebrated with food donated to a foodbank last week.
On Friday (October 2), an assembly was led by Year 3 at Avon House School, in High Road, Woodford Green.
Children used the letters HARVEST to create the message of SHARE, EAT, HAVE and REST to explain why we celebrate harvest.
This year the school is supporting the Redbridge Foodbank by bringing in food donations which can be distributed to those in need within the borough.
