A doctor has returned to school to inspire pupils to achieve their potential in future careers
Dr Patrice Baptiste, along with other speakers, attended Holy Family Catholic School in Shernhall Street, Walthamstow to encourage students into careers in medicine, law, accountancy and transport management.
The former student graduated from University College London in 2013 and has worked in Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone.
She claimed it was a privilege to return to the school to talk to the students.
She said: "It was a great turn out with about 45 students from Years 10,11 and sixth form. The talks were received really well.
"I wanted to show them that anybody, even from a comprehensive school, can achieve what they want if they set their minds to it."
