Police have released images of three men who they want to speak to in connection with sexual assault on the Victorian line.

Around 11pm on October 10, one of a group of men travelling on the Victoria line from Seven Sisters attempted to kiss a woman by grabbing her face.

A man who intervened was then punched in the jaw by a member of the group, needing hospital treatment, as the train approached Finsbury Park.

The group left the train at Highbury and Islington.

British Transport Police (BTP) want to speak to these three men pictured in connection with the two incidents.

Detective Constable David Bishop said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim and a cowardly attack on a passenger who had bravely intervened.

“The inappropriate behaviour and assaults on both the woman and the man were simply unacceptable, and I’m confident the men in the CCTV we’ve released have crucial information to help our investigation.

“I’m asking for anyone who can name these men, or has any information that can assist with our enquiries, to get in touch as soon as possible.”

If you recognise the men call 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting B6 of 25/11/15.
