ANOTHER mosque will be opening its doors to the entire community this weekend in a bid to show the ‘true Islam’.

Non-Muslims will have the chance to try on a Hijab and learn about the origins of Islam at the Lea Bridge Road in Leyton, this Sunday.

Waltham Forest Islamic Association (WFIA) will host the open day in a bid to unite the community further.

As well as being given the chance to ask questions about the religion, families can view exhibitions and read the Quran.

Stalls with cupcakes, henna painting and even a GP will open for visitors and children will be able to use the play area and get their faces painted.

Doors at the mosque will open from 12pm.
