Carol singers from Wanstead Church School at the Christmas lights switch-on.
This year’s Christmas lights have been officially switched on in Wanstead.
The festivities kicked off on the Green opposite the George pub at 4.30pm on Friday (November 27).
Carols were be sung by children from Wanstead Church School and the Pearly King and Queen switched on the lights at 5pm.
