A FOOTBALL match will be enjoyed for free by 1000 people after a festive giveaway from Leyton Orient Football Club.

The free tickets are up for grabs for Waltham Forest residents to attend the O’s home match against Exeter City on January 16, 2016.

Residents can apply for a maximum of four tickets, with a limit of one entry per household.

Winners will be selected via a random ballot and those who are successful will be notified via email by Tuesday 22 December.

Council leader, Chris Robbins, said: “It’s a real pleasure to be able to partner with Leyton Orient and offer our residents the opportunity to come along to a home match and cheer on their local team.

“I’d like to acknowledge the Club’s generosity and the ongoing work they do within the Waltham Forest community.”

Chief executive of the Leyton Orient Trust, Neil Taylor, said: “Through the Leyton Orient Trust we do a lot of work in the borough to create and deliver lots of opportunities to those most in need through our sports, educational and leisure projects.

“This give-away is a small way of saying thank you to the residents who have supported us over the year by coming along to matches and donating to the trust.”

Winners can collect tickets between December 29 and January 9 from the Leyton Orient Football Club ticket office.

To collect your tickets you will need to supply a copy of your confirmation email, along with proof of name and address, such as your driver’s licence or council tax bill.
