A new brand new £10m car dealership was opened yesterday creating 46 jobs for the area.

Robins & Day and Citroën Retail Group dealership was officially opened in Chingford last night (December 10).

David Peel, Chief Executive of Peugeot Citroën Retail Group UK and Stéphane le Guével, Director General Peugeot Citroën Automobiles UK were joined for the evening by Waltham Forest council's cabinet member for economic growth, Cllr Clare Coghill.

The development, which began in 2014, is located on the Chingford Road opposite the old Walthamstow dog track stadium.

The new site houses two eight-car showrooms for Robins & Day Peugeot and Citroën Retail Group.

As well as new cars, the site will also sell 65 used cars and a brand new 13 bay workshop with MOT facilities and the latest state of the art equipment.

The investment has also created 46 jobs with many employees being recruited from the local area.
