Two men accused of shooting dead a Turkish man and dumping his body in a Leytonstone beauty spot have denied murder.
The remains of Hidir Aksakal, a 53-year-old also known as Boxer Cetin, were discovered by a walker wrapped in bags in Hollow Ponds on September 9.
Yilmaz Coskun, 35, of no fixed address, was charged with Hidir's murder on October 14, two weeks after his arrest.
Remzi Akguc, 40, of Margery Street, Clerkenwell, was charged on September 25 with murder.
The pair appeared at the Old Bailey today (December 16) and both pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder.
Mr Aksakal, a Turkish national, lived in Margate, Kent, but had close links to the Green Lanes area of Haringey having previously resided there.
He was last seen in Green Lanes in the early hours of August 17.
