Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust (BHRUT) has started 2016 by appointing a new chief nurse.
Kathryn Halford, 52, from Romford, will be chief nurse at Queen’s and King George Hospital, where she will be responsible for accountability, managing staff, and ensuring every patient gets a good level of care.
She said: “I was attracted here because it’s a really exciting place to work. In my previous role I did a lot of work on patient experience and supporting patient care, skills which I can bring me.”
Kathryn joins BHRUT from Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.
