Coins, medals and jewellery were discovered when a member of the public found four boxes on Boxing Day.
Essex Police have appealed to find the owners of the property, which was inside the jewellery boxes on Wind Hill, Magdalen Laver, on December 26 2015.
Most of discovered pieces appear to be costume jewellery, including watches, brooches, earrings and necklaces made with gold coloured metal and beads.
There were also ornament, boxes of draughts and dominoes, and a box containing three coins or medals.
Three of the discovered boxes were small and cream with a gold design around the top edge, two of which had ballerina figurines inside.
The fourth was a vanity style case, made of purple and black fabric with a flower print.
If you recognise the items, contact PC Rachel Anderson at Harlow CID on 101.
