Another jewellery box has been discovered by a member of the public, a mile away from where four others were found on Boxing Day.
The wooden box containing necklaces, a bracelet and a watch was found in Tilegate Road, Magdalen Laver, yesterday (January 20).
Essex Police have appealed to find the owner of the container, which has a picture of a bird on the lid.
It was found at the junction with Hastingwood Road one mile from Wind Hill, where four boxes containing coins, medals and jewellery were discovered on December 26 last year.
A police spokesman said the two finds are yet to be formally linked.
Anyone who recognises the jewellery found yesterday and thinks it may belong to them should call DC James Smith at Harlow CID on 101.
